Résumé | Serge Y. Fuchs obtained MD and PhD degrees in Yaroslavl and Moscow (Russia) and post-doc training at American Health Foundation and Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York). He then joined the University of Pennsylvania where he developed a research program focused on the molecular mechanisms underlying ubiquitination and downregulation of signaling cytokine receptors and the role of these mechanisms in cancer, immunity, infectious and autoimmune diseases. The resulting paradigm of “eliminative signaling”, which will be presented by Dr Fuchs, has formed a foundation for subsequent studies on inflammatory tissue damage and defenses against tumor development, progression and metastasis.

Un buffet froid sera servi sur place.

Conférence disponible en visioconférence.
